As you can see underneath this post, some nice pictures were taken of M.V. Alice in action. They were made in the locks of the Trollhattan Canal which connects the Vanern with the Port of Goteborg at the North Sea.

The pictures show how narrow the Trollhattan locks are and how our “Trollmax” design takes out most advantage of the available space! Thanks to a light high tensile steel hull construction and a very full hullform with a large bulb, these ships carry an absolute maximum amount of cargo deadweight through the restricted dimensions of the canal and locks.

M.V. Alice and M.V. Helge were recently (2013) built at our shipyard in Westerbroek for Erik Thun A.B.
