Cargo Holds & Equipment
2 box shaped holds; dimensions (L*B*H) – Hold 1 : 50.40 * 14.34/7.17 * 11.47 mtr – Hold 2 : 61.60 * 14.34 * 11.47 mtr Tanktop strengthened for 15 t/m2 uniform load or 20 t/m3 non-uniform. Both holds equipped with tweendeck hatches over full hold length,(1 height, max load 3.5 t/m2). Tweendeck hatch panels can be used as movable hold separations / grain bulkheads. Handling of all pontoon hatch panels by gantry crane on coaming rails. Hold ventilation capacity 12 changes/hour, equipped with dehumidification system. Suited for carriage of dangerous goods. |
Bulbless Bow Hullform Design
Special bow form with negative stem profile and sharp waterlines without bulb results in less resistance at moderate speeds while having more displacement and cargo hold volume. Sharp entrance angles and less bow flare reduce speed loss in seaway. Model tests show excellent performance while breaking through ice channels . The EEDI index for this ship is abt 50% better than the required index entering into force from 2012, and still 25% less than the future requirements for 2025. |
Fuel Consumption
Consumption Abt 16.8 tons/day (HFO). Energy efficiency index abt. 15 % better than requirements valid after year 2025. |
